The winds are changing for Catalyst Theatre Company and we’re excited about what God has planned.
As a ministry of Cedar Park Church for the past 19 years, we have been privileged to produce full-length plays, musicals, one-act plays, and specials both on the main stage in Bothell and touring to churches and prisons all over Washington state. Some of the highlights:
- Touring with Bridge of Blood, the Jim Elliot story, over 3 years, performing in churches and prisons all over the state
- Presenting wonderful family-friendly plays at Christmas – such as The Christmas Express (2010), You Better Watch Out (2012), and A Little Christmas Spirit (2013) – to audiences from the main stage and at area churches
- Helping people think, feel, and laugh with one-act plays like The Flogging, Nativity on the Square, The Wall, and Foolish Wiseman
- Staging possible outcomes of our faith in Catacombs (2015)
- Bringing joy with a message and with singing and dancing with the musicals Katie’s Hope (2014), A Light in the Attic (2016), and I’ll Be Home for Christmas (2017)
We’ve enjoyed all that we’ve done with Cedar Park, but God is calling Cedar Park to something different and we believe God is calling us to something new.
We have a new musical in hand and are reaching out to new venues in which to produce it. Please stay tuned! We hope to have more details soon.
